I'm not bothered either way tbh, I think going down might open a few eyes at the club and in the fan base and we need to have some sort of a reset imo. I watch a lot of Championship football, it's a great league with some cracking young talent who go under the radar a lot of the time. It's very competitive and the games come thick and fast, I would encourage anyone to watch it (if you don't) its better viewing than the PL a lot of the time.

I've already come to terms with going down. There has been nothing from the team/club to suggest we can get out of this.

If anyone can tell me 5 positives that are in our control that say we can get out of it I'm all ears?

Only three teams can go down
We have more opportunities for points than others
Crowd at home impact

We need a new squad to come back up. This group wouldn’t cope in the Championship.

Weirdly I think they would, less pressure and that
Strangely I think some of the players we currently say aren't good enough would do a decent job in the Championship- the likes of Rondon, Kenny, Gomes would find their level and I think players like Gordon/Gray/Townsend would do well down there. Lets hope we don't have to find out though as I dread to think what other sort of players we'd be padding out the squad with!!

I mean i agree we are in big trouble but this if we d9nt wob that game or this game we have had it is weird, tjwre will be loads of t

Goodness me... Well, theres nearly a 3rd of the season to go, we beat two of our relegation rivals v well at home (ok one was a cup game) we still arent in the bottom 3,we still have players to come back and the new managrr hasnt been here long and still has time to improve

We've played Championship opponents three times this season, lost one, needed extra time to beat another and barely scraped through with 10 men against Huddersfield.

If we have anything even resembling the same squad in the Championship next year then we need to get used to our surroundings as we're going to be there for a while.

We cannot go down. It is absolutely unthinkable.

Less pressure? You’re joking aren’t you. The pressure on us to come straight back up would enormous. We’d go into every game home and away as favourites. These players crumble at the mere hint of any expectation.
Yeah we’d be favourites but there’s less spotlight than there is in the PL, they’d cope with it. Besides the point, if we did go down the majority of the squad will disappear save for a few names so it wouldn’t be the same faces that ‘crumble’

I do hope you’re right and the vast, vast majority of this squad get off. I wouldn’t want to put my faith in them to get us back up.
