The fans were there today. We turned up and it was incredibly hostile, especially around the Hwang injury.

But when you see no movement, the idleness of the midfield and the constant reliance on Gordon to do something it was difficult to get behind because it was so so poor.

Kenny, Coleman and Doucoure were so poor in possession

Mykolenko still needs a run of games so I am going to reserve judgement for now, but that ball for the goal should not have come in.

I'm just at a loss with it all. Can't see how we're gonna even manage to draw a game now.

Newcastle are just gonna run us off the park Thursday

I wish I had the confidence of some that we will be ok.

Our form is abysmal, and the teams below look to have more about them than we do - the only saving grace is they play each other and also the top sides as well, sp they will drop points, but then we have to better or at least match their results, and I don't see us able to with these players.

Please God let me be wrong

Hoping goodison under the lights can inspire the fans on Thursday - we need the walls to shake,.and I'll be there as usual.

The fans were behind them today from the off, but the lack of effoet from the team affected the fans.

No excuse today about the fans not supporting the players. These current players don’t deserve the fans.

All true. I can't see where we'll get another point tbh.

We need a spark. A moment when we get a break out of the blue. If we dont get it against Newcastle it'll be very very difficult to put the brakes on and start turning this in the other direction.

That said: IF we get a win against Newcastle we can still do this. I also think a free shot at Palace and a Wembley appearance secured could also dig out some late season form to get us just out of it.

I've seen matters worse than this for us in the 90s. The difference was that we had characters in those teams. But the chance still remains for charcters to emerge from this parlous situation too.

Nil Desperandum.

We can still do this. It will take a very low total to survive. Thank goodness.
Dave, the issue is that this is what we lack. As the old saying goes, you make your own luck: we look unable to get the break we need; we lack composure.

Before the game, my son was listening to Forever Everton when he asked, "Daddy, what goes 'all for one, one for all' mean?" I was trying to explain it.

Apart from a few examples like Leeds or City, it is clear that they lack unity and do not play as a team. Do they trust each other? Are they playing as a group?

The answer for me is a resounding no, which means they'll struggle to find said spark. These are the most gutless, uninspiring players I've seen, ever.

At least with the 90s teams there were players in the dressing room who you knew would get stuck in. I'm struggling to see who will do this bar one or two.
