Player Valuation: £60m
I did take into account that despite being a great wide man he is a complete helmet so lowered my bid down from £6.50.
If we can sacrafice him to apease the gods, I'll stump up that fiver.

If the gods did accept him he'd probably fall over just before he got the the edge of heaven looking for a free kick.
So in summary he's a massive hated snide.

Les W (Aston Villa fan) says...
I have supported Villa since 1956. If Villa sell Millner (for whatever price), I will stop supporting them. Villa finished 6th but could have so easily with better home performances finished 4th. To sell Millner or any of their young stars is just not acceptable and would mean that Villa are not really interested in being the best of the English clubs.
These deluded fools haven't seen the Aston Villa balance sheet obviously.
Lets not get on our high horses too much. Our financial situation isn't exactly rosy either, it's just not as bad as some of the other clubs in the league.
Villa isn't going anywhere. They are expanding their stadium and can raise ticket prices as their tickets are currently inexpensive by prem standards. Plus they will be getting extra money from a shirt sponsor. Lerner has a fortune worth around 3 Billion US and owning an NFL franchise no matter how bad their record has been is a licence to print money so he could refinance or pay off the debt in a second if he wanted. If Villa is smart too they will sell Milner for 28-30M b/c you have to take advantage of City while you have the chance.
Their problem has been some of MONs buys. He's not nearly as astute in the transfer market as Moyes is. All of his players come have been in the 8-12M range, there are no Artetas or Cahills 2M buys in the squad. His only decent bargain buy was Richard Dunne who is just a bandaid on the gushing wound that sprouted when Larsen retired.
So I they can't put all their eggs in that basket either especially with debt growing 20% in 12 months!
