When the grand old lady is finally laid to rest, how should she be commemorated?

Some clubs have little more than a plaque where the ground stood - Man City, West Ham, Sunderland, Coventry are examples. Derby have a large statue next to where the Baseball Ground was. Highbury on the other hand is still there in its all of its glory with the stands turned into flats & the pitch used as a recreation area.

It would be nothing short of a tragedy if the first purpose build stadium in the country isn't commemorated well. I saw some articles on the net a while ago with proposed ideas, but haven't seen anything recently.

Demolished and turned into a Lidl to try and recoup some money for the administrators.

As the ground that good times Bill and his headlocked cheerleaders refused to go to and got the club relegated from the Premier League that they were founders of.

I should think the residents of Gwladys St. would be quite happy to see that stand come down and get a few more hours daylight :bye:

If it's Chairman Bull doing the interview, then I'd demolish it, obliterate over a century of people's attachment to it and the memory of all those people who have a link to it be they still be here or lost to us and make it like we were never here.

Because I believe that is his overall model for running the club.

A huge carpark for the RS super fans when they fill their bigger stadium, holding close to 70k. They already sell £200 tickets which includes car park space and a meal. This is mainly for the Norwegians but I know someone who fancies trying it out.
