Remembering Karl on his birthday

A year ago I had the pleasure to begin a birthday thread for my late friend @messymascot and it was this interaction that allowed me to begin a strong bond, and friendship with him that was cut short when he died of cancer back in December. Today would have been Karl's birthday and I don't want this occasion to go by without remembering his kind soul. Karl loved Everton dearly and this forum so it seems appropriate to remember him today.

Not this or any year

I miss you each passing day

And hold you in my heart

Hopefully we will catch up again some day

But until then happy birthday mate

I'll put my tears away for just awhile

And spend a moment remembering you

With thoughts that always make me smile
