A year ago I had the pleasure to begin a birthday thread for my late friend @messymascot and it was this interaction that allowed me to begin a strong bond, and friendship with him that was cut short when he died of cancer back in December. Today would have been Karl's birthday and I don't want this occasion to go by without remembering his kind soul. Karl loved Everton dearly and this forum so it seems appropriate to remember him today.

I seen it was sadly his birthday & with only a small contribution to the main Karl thread- I also glad someone like @Sassy Colombian who players ro!e with many others it was far more fitting for one the major posters to remember the brave Karl in his fight against a terrible illness, & the true bravery he showed at a young age rip.....

Not a day passes without thinking of you and your unbounded courage in your fight. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what I took from you and your positivity against the most heinous of enemies.

I feared the worst for Karl & checked the last date of his last post so for me to do any thread on his birthday was unfitting in such sad circumstances - I am glad you did that lovely tribute which was fitting
