Actually I know that some posters do come for that, but I wonder if maybe rep could be continued in the ale house.
"Mature thinking persons" could have their serious discussions in the Everton forum and the current affairs etc. (as if there are enough of them)

Honestly find the whole rep thing a little passive aggressive... moreover the neg rep. More than half seem to be anonymous and is a way to sling insults without being held accountable. The old middle finger does a good enough job.
