'Forum Supporters' can now rep -10/+10.

It's an effort to improve self moderation as we head into the new season. Any posts receiving more than '-11' rep, is automatically pulled from public view, pending moderator approval.

Shortly, any member with a specified 'Negative Rep' will again have all future posts placed in a Moderator queue (as all new members do)

To be honest Bungle it does seem that some of the more obscure posters on here are actually forum supporters so I'm not sure how this would help the forum in the long run?

But obviously it's GOT's site and their decision. I just thought I'd have my say being a relative newcomer and seeing as the thread in the Ale House about GOT turning into RAWK had a lot of posters blaming newbies I'd thought it was best to stay out of that one and thought I could contribute in here.

From what I can see from this though it's that paying your subs make people a more valuable poster but not necessarily a better poster which is surely detrimental to the forum in the long run.

The swipe about it turning into Everton's equivalent of RAWK was aimed at many of the experienced posters as well as new ones. Myself included if I'm being honest.

The great thing about this place was always that it didn't matter how many posts you had, you got judged on the content of your posts and general soundness.

Long may that prevail. If this rep system is abused, and thanks for the multiple neg reps today you monsters, then the mods will act.

IF you had a point I missed it, all I got from this post is waaahhh, waaaaah, clique, clique.

Pay ya money, get ya mug and look down your nose at people as you neg bomb them for minus 10 on every whim or dont pay ya money, dont get ya mug and please, pipe the freakzoid down.
