We've made changes to the reputation system which allows it to be efficiently moderated - and so, it's back.

We'll be making a few more gradual changes to how it operates in the coming weeks.

In addition, you will now receive an automated PM if your thread has been locked/moved/deleted.

Threads are now automatically tagged (Box underneath new threads). I'm sceptical how we'll it'll work, but we'll give it a go...

We'll be making a few more changes shortly.

But -1 - 5 are negligible amounts when you consider the values used before. For example your rep score will be over 50 000 I think, as you're a "Goodison Legend". In the old system that's not hard to achieve, as individual reps can give you over 1000 points. But if the limit is now 5, then that means that people aren't really going to move in the rep rankings and it would take a ridiculous amount of rep for newer posters to get their rep up.

I'm just trying to make sure that's not the case, because it would be unfair on new members. :)

On the flip side.

If you have 50,000 rep points.

Dropping a measly little -1 on someone would be the equivalent of laying nuclear waste to their reputation.

Given I currently have 114k of rep I think it's safe to say that at a max of 5 rep a post from now on then I'm safe in the "top ten" for a while ^^

I feel like Liverpool being given a back door entry into the Champions League :D

Yeah, i can see that - how do you know you're 31st i mean.

Click on Community and then forum members and then sort by Rep. I guess that's what Dutch means?

I'm gonna try out this new rep system today, I am still none the wiser on how it works * special.
