When I was growing up in the fifties it was not unusual to sit next to a woman breast feeding on a bus and no-one was put out and I would not be now its a natural act ?only sad people could object.although on reflection I can see other women having a problem,

My Wife wanted to breast feed our daughter but sadly it was not possible and the same thing occurred when my daughter had her child.

4. Men, how do/would you feel about your girlfriend/wife/baby's mother breastfeeding your child? Does/would it please you? Does/would it offend you?

I would be fine about and treating this without any humour why would any one object to their partner feeding this way as there are a lot of advantages.

Seeing the woman I love breast feeding my children was one of the the most beautiful sights to behold.

This isn't a debate on feeding other peoples children or breastfeeding older children, its about a mother feeding her baby and all your answers would be appreciated, thanks.

Would like to add that we also purchased a breast pump to extract the milk directly into a bottle Giving my wife the benefit of much needed rest (especially the first 2 or 3 months), and me the benefit of bonding with my child.

Yes, what could be wrong with it? Although none of my 3 children were breastfed, that was down to my own girlfriends choice and was partly down to vanity, ie, she didnt want to lose her massive boobies.

Uncomfortable, judging on my past experiences.

Yes and no, i can see the benefits, but the wonders of modern science mean that they can replicate and improve any health benefits.

As i say it was her choice, i had no view on it either way, what ever she wanted to do was fine with me.

Yes. Scientifically proven the longer you breast feed the higher IQ of the baby.

My mrs has breastfed both our children. It is good cause it saves money on buying formula.

My mrs is a breastfeeding councillor. So she is very much for it.
