With the imminent appt of David Moyes I’m sure many of you picked up on some bad feeling amongst our fellow Evertonians on his return.

The bad blood persists from his exit and stint as Man Utd Manager. You may recall this.

It’s really important right now to unite a divided fanbase so should Moyes apologise first day to help turn a new leaf? Would be a sign of strong leadership for many.

Poll attached.

Should apologise for not going far enough.

A lot of 'alleged' here :

Manchester United's David Moyes 'called Everton fans a disgrace over Old Trafford taunts'
Toffees supporter made Twitter claims over bar chat he said he had with ex-Goodison boss after Wednesday's match between the clubs

.
David Moyes has been accused of a bitter rant at Everton fans following their win over his Manchester United side.

The new United boss is alleged to have said supporters of the Goodison club, where he was manager until last summer, were a “disgrace” for verbally abusing him during their side’s 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

The episode is said to have occurred during a conversation between Moyes and an Everton fan in the bar of Manchester’s Lowry Hotel.

Toffees fan David Wallbank alleged in a series of tweets that Moyes vented his anger on the treatment he received from fans of the club he managed for 11 years.

During the defeat - champions United’s fourth in the Premier League since Moyes succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson - Everton fans at Old Trafford chanted abuse at their former boss.

After the game, Moyes is alleged to have revealed to Wallbank his dismay at the reception he received from Everton fans, having turned them from a relegation-threatened side into a credible Premier League force during his time in charge.

Tweeting under the name @daveywallbank, Wallbank made a series of revelations about his alleged conversation with Moyes.

He deleted his account once a furore developed over his controversial claims.

Manchester United denied that Moyes used the term “f*****g disgrace’.
