So the Donald tells me...

The ideal profile of a Dyche full back.

Someone who can play between the typical LCB & LB positions almost tucking in as a 3rd centre back...before moving towards the incoming player

31 on a free could mean we have him for 2 seasons. Its a bit of a risk if we did sell Mykolenko and he was the replacement.

As a backup/rotation for both LB & LCB hes ideal.

I wonder if this may also mean Keane & Holgate are finally moved on -- as and if O'Brien and ideally Rodriguez join.
He's better at crossing than Mykolenko no worries.

…..not forgetting you said Mykolenko makes Branthwaite look good, you’d have to be concerned if Dyche goes more expansive.

Personally think Branthwaite’s presence (the way he covers that channel behind the LB) means we can have a more effective attacking option at LB. It’s all about blend and partnerships and I think we’re missing an opportunity to have a LB who can contribute in the top third.

They're trying with Holgate, it'll most likely be a loan late in the window. Massive wages, Everton will have to take a hit and pay some.

Keane wants regular footy but he's more likely to stay at this stage. They want 4 CBs.

Holgate I'm guessing we will end up subbing 70-80% of that wage.

Keane - I still feel we may bring in a Godfrey type to cover/start at RB and CB (younger lad) - if we do can see Keane moving on - also if he does wanna play - can't see Dyche keeping him given they have a good history together.

Still think we will see 3 at the back this season a fair bit mate

We’ll see how much Keane wants to play when it comes to accepting an inevitable 50% pay cut that he’ll have to take and probably dropping down a league.

Going into the last year, I guess it's depend on the length of contract, signing fee etc.

If he could grab a 3 year deal somewhere with an optional year of n say 40k per week with a bit of a bonus on signing to offset the lost wage this season then can see it.

Would t even rule out us giving him a 'loyalty' payment covering the lost wave in part either to get the full wages and a possible fee in.

Wouldn't rule out a prem team getting him either, he's probably an improvement for someone like forest or Leicester straight off on their starters and as a backup CB even so where like west spam

I would disagree a lot with this. I don’t think he’s anywhere near Premier League standard even as a backup. No way in a million years would he get in Forest or Leicester’s team as a starter.
