Not sure what it's got to do with Benitez, but I don't believe Michael Jackson was guilty of any of the accusations made against him either, and the lack of evidence against him, as well as the well documented proof that each of his accusers were at various stages, liars, perjurers, and money grabbers out to extort whatever they could from an insanely wealthy and naively generous man, seems to back that up as well.

But please, do tell me how you believing every negative story written about a dead, persecuted black man by a biased and manipulative media, makes you more of an authority on Everton and or football? Id love to hear it.

I don't think it would happen, but if there is someone with a better record than Benitez, spread over multiple clubs and countries, and willing to give it a shot here, then I'll really like to know who that is.

If there was genuine interest from him, we should take that very seriously. We can't cut off our nose to spite our face, particularly if we end up with another non-entity as manager.

To be honest, I don't care who manages Everton Football Club. Apart from Nick Barmby who is my number one hate.
Its all about them 11-14 on the pitch each week. I want to go to Wembley, I want to go to Ajax, Madrid, Porto. I want to see Dave Watson and Kevin Ratcliffe lifting the trophies again. I want to see my dad cry again like he did against Watford in 84. If Rafael can give me them memories back then bring him in.
I was born in 1977, I went to Goodison for the first time in 1983 and Wembley for the first time in 1984. Like everyone else I have seen, Middlesborough, Blackburn, Bolton, Portsmouth etc all win cups and enter European journeys. At some point I'm going to pass away, to Z cars, in a EFC shirt, its my wishes. Let 1995 not be my last memory...…….....
