Coming from a team that can’t defend, has little attacking prowess (six league goals) and awful play, I would happily swap for Benitez’s defensive style.

I wanted the FSW to replace Moyes when he left and have wanted him every time the vacancy has arose since. I don't even care he slagged us off once and used to manage them.

Benitez is a bloody good manager and has done well at most places he's been. He still lives on Merseyside so I'm sure he'd be interested in the job here when the current incumbent is finally removed.

So Rafael still lives on the Wirral? Is he commuting to China every week?

I still wouldn't want him here.

I'd back him if we hired him, champions League winning managers aren't exactly a dime a dozen out there.

He would be a winner, experienced , command respect from the players and know the league well enough. Track record for getting results , winning trophies and getting the best out of a team.

But he is a kopite, so no.
