I think he was saying, in a round about way, that the team was utter rubbish and Spurs was a good opportunity. He also mentioned that the club needed the money.
I’ve no issue with what he said at all but now he’s left I don’t particularly pay attention to what he’s doing. No player is bigger than the club so he can crack on and all the best to him.
If only he kept his mouth shut such a shame. I do take bitterness from it though maybe he wanted to stay
