Richarlison at Spurs

Evertonians have always overvalued our own players. He was a decent player but we are already a better team.
Due to the finances provided from his sale, admittedly. If we could have kept him and made those signings, would we better still?

I think you, others and us all know the answer. I’m not going to lie, he’s my favourite player of probably the last decade all things considered.

But he was desperate to leave, he's like a completely different player at Spurs.

Is he? To the former point, I have no issue with him wanting to leave to advance his career, which a move to Spurs certainly has. It's the situation we're in.

However, could you or anyone else argue that he didn't do his utmost when he was here? He was pivotal for us last season and beyond, and that'll be remembered.

I think its one of those weird ones where he’d have been better off if he made less of a connection and it dribbled towards the corner
Aye, I said to my son that in hindsight I think he probably should have swung his left foot at it, although it's easier to say that when you're watching on TV.

I know he was probably imbalanced, so he may not have been able to do it, but I think his right foot meant he couldn't get any direction to it.

His left foot could have tucked it past the keeper.
