Find one Watford fan who thinks anything other than this is a ludicrously good deal for us. Deulefeo single handedly taking Chelsea apart this year (subbed after 89 minutes, mind) showed us what potential is.

You don't need to tell us how exciting it can be to watch Geri play - we've all seen it. Just have a read through his player thread on here and you'll see what the majority think of him (when you remove all this transfer rivalry crap). I'm also sure that if you have a look on the Watford forums you'll see how good people expected Richarlison to be this season now that he's had a rest in the summer. Let's not go down the road of rewriting history so it suits our current points of view.

Personally, I hope Del is fantastic for Watford - really wanted it to work for him here but it wasn't to be.

Lastly, you're absolutely right that the majority of Watford supporters will say this is a great deal for Watford - because it is.... but not because Deulofeu is a better player, it's a good deal because you're getting a lot of money for Richarlison.

Deulofeu will make you fall in love with him then break your heart multiple times. He’ll never be consistent. Just when you think he’s made it he’ll pass the ball to the opppsition keeper when one on one in your biggest game of the season then let the opposition full back rinse him to cross the ball that creates the winner against you.

This falling through and lookman going for £15 million would be peak Everton fume across the internet

Fingers crossed

What's interesting is him and Walcott both want to play as more inside forwards than traditional wingers.

This lads got the ability to beat a few but he's always seemingly drifting beyond the striker and looking to get on to pushed to the side rebounds.

Put the ball on goal and let the two wingers feed.

I was thinking before in one of my rare moments of clarity of Walcott getting played centrally up top with Ricky on one side and Lookman on the other ( or if we sell him then i don't think @bluestevon will be far wrong where we look to bring in another winger as I'm not too sure if Malcolm was first choice and Ricky was 2nd )

That would be a very athletic front 3 wouldn't it.
