IF true, another nail in lookmans coffin I’d say.

Silva obviously rates him which is good enough for me. Just not sure 50 million is justified. Hopefully it’s less than that, but defo a good player
I dont think so, right now we are light at both winger and striker, plus Lookman can play in the middle as he did for Leipzig. If Silva wants to play 2 up top, he likely does so with Tosun and Walcott, meaning its Richarlison and Lookman on the sides. Further, I expect that Walcott could be our 3rd striker option, so if Niasse isnt available and Tosun needs a break or gets injured, Walcott could move up top. I could also easily see us playing games with Tosun up top, Walcott and Richarlison on the wings and Lookman in the middle, and at the VERY least a 3rd winger should see a lot of play time even without injuries to out forwards.

From my Watford supporting mate:
“That’s the daily mail price isn’t it? But I think Silva would rate him almost that highly. Plenty of potential but plenty of risk. Strong, quick enough, skilful enough (although not Brazilian skilful), tough and versatile enough to play across the front line. Obviously started the season really well for us scoring goals but when his confidence dropped in second half of season, his finishing became woeful and his touch wasn’t great. He’s not sheer Brazilian class in terms of touch and skill but he has a good blend of attributes suited to the PL and you’d think he’d develop well under Silva.”

Rumours seem to be progressing.
I’m not sure, 50mill is huge but I thought he looked very good against us at home last season. Some neat tricks, pace and good work rate. Better than Bolasie and Mirallas for sure. But again, the fee is ridiculous.
