Fair play, the lad works seriously hard as well.

I’m sure that made things more difficult for him (language barrier and all). I’d be a bit concerned if a player could only ever perform under 1 specific manager mind

That coupled with a new manager / system too .Plus I read he had not had a pre season off in a few seasons and coming straight from playing in the Brazilian lge he'd had no rest/time off.
For such a young player thats understandable , he has had summer off so should be much fresher now.
I think with the squad we have now Silva will use it to help him ( plus the rest of team) whenever there's a blip in form.
