Not sure he's a CF but he's definitely better closer to goal.Still think he is a centre forward tbh
At the end of last season we generally played higher up the pitch on the whole (Zouma and Gana were crucial to this) so our full-backs spent a lot of time right high upfield, meaning Richarlison was given the freedom to cut in from the right.
He's not a winger, so if he's playing on the right he's absolutely wasted if he's playing too wide. However, because we haven't been playing with as much confidence so far, we've tended to just sit that bit deeper, meaning he's been playing wider as that's where the space was.
Last night, as you'd expect, we were able to push our FBs right on. Sidibe didn't have a great game but his athleticism was evident. He got up and down and that allowed Richarlison to cut inside and generally we were all pressing that 10 yards higher up.
It'll be hard to replicate against Wolves. Coleman will rightly come back in and offers what Sidibe does. But we need to make sure as a team we're pushing higher up so the space for whoever plays in front of Coleman is made on the inside rather than right on the touchline.
Delph I think can also help with that.
