I dont understand this logic myself.

I will renew my Season Ticket every single year im financially able, I dont care who the manager is, I dont care which Stadium we play in and I couldnt care less how many years Richarlison has left on his totally meaningless contract.

The club makes 18m a year from gate receipts, we fill the ground every week, we have a waiting list for tickets, they dont need fancy gimmicks to punt tickets.
Its not going to effect me either, I've long accepted that I'm just going to renew my ST no matter what

Never the less the club always does this every single year without fail. There's always some "good news" announced from the club around this time of year without fail. Its predictable AF.

Have you considered that maybe the club likes to tell us good news?

I mean if true and United are sniffing its prudent to tie him to a new deal, with regards the stadium we were told we would hear news before the end of the year, they told us that before the season started, whenever we hear that news, be it this year or next, people will no doubt trot out the "using good news to mask the bad" line.

But ive no doubt that the club does try and deflect at times, I mean at this point everybody is sick and tired of the players coming out with the "soz abar being crap, next game we will try weely, weely hard I promise"

hasn't got the technical ability of say digne or gomes or even Bernard

but he is by FAR our most "important" player, imagine were we would be without his goals

I dunno what the club likes anymore. I used to think they liked winning but I'm starting to have my doubts about that when I look at who they hire to manage us and the bulk of the players they bring in to play for us.

They should be offering them at half price to be honest. This season we were targeting the top six. Next season we might be playing Luton. No idea how they can justify a price freeze.
Just translates into ‘this is the fifth year we’re absolutely crap so no one on the board has the stones to dare to raise the prices for the fans’

Theres complaining for the sake of complaining...

Its really good of the club to keep the prices the same, you cant slate them for that.

Capitalism comes second in thie case.

You can’t raise prices when the quality of what you’re offering decreases year on year. If anything they should be decreasing them as every year their slice of tv money gets bigger and the standard of entertainment they’re offering goes down. Why should fans pay the same amount to watch a team scrap at the bottom of the league as they would to watch a team challenge for trophies?

Why do chocolate bars get smaller but the prices increase?
