I think he’s just got used to getting the crap kicked out of him now. It is ridiculous how many teams try and kick him out of the game though. I suppose it is literally the only way he can be stopped.

Agree with you, it's so obvious that other teams are trying to knock him off his game and it's to his credit that he's learnt to accept it (and not rise to the bait and get himself sent off). He definitely deserves more protection as does Zaha and Grealish. I had a look at the stats from last season and Grealish was given almost twice as many fouls against him as Richie - it must drive the Villa fans to distraction.

Everything you want in a player, he works hard for the team, never stops running, has heart, passion and hunger and scores goals and gets assists he really is turning into a complete forward.

Feel he will get off the mark this weekend. He gives quality + work rate. I don't put him in the world-class category but he is a stand-out, reliable player.

I'm expecting 20 goals from him this year, James and DCL will feed off that as well.
