2020/21 Richarlison

Said it on December 12, still feel exactly the same. He's been awful all season. Embarrassing goals return for a Brazilian international striker also.
Reckon that's the problem he is not the striker for Everton. Unless there is a niggling just about match fit injury we are not being told about. If its the first, alarm bells are ringing and be prepared for meltdown when he goes...

I'd actually move him to where Gylfi is behind Dom where he played last season it would give us another option to hit in that final third. He hasn't been that good this season but he has also looked frustrated without Digne giving him an option and stuck out on a wing tbh.

Problem with doing that is we'd have no direct pace on the wing if he's moved inside.

Don't get me wrong he's bene utterly horrific for about 8 games straight but he's our only real outlet for the left hand side.

What I find weird is that people jump on the case of Davies, Gomes and Sigurdsson after one bad pass (mostly deserved, imo), but if Richarlison does something wrong you get a “He saved us last season” “he’s our best player”.

Well, he isn’t performing that way at the moment, the lad doesn’t seem happy, whatsoever which for me is hugely concerning.

I am worried about reports that he’d give “one more season”, which swirled in the summer, because he’s not been the same this season.

He looks consistently frustrated and things he’d do with ease last year (gets shots off, beat a man, find space in box), he’s just not doing. Maybe he’s burnt out, but he doesn’t look himself and it’s shown In his performances.

The 'he hasn't seemed happy' shouts have been here since he got here.

There's no evidence he wants out or wants to leave. He is in a bad run of form but he actually started the season very well.

Our attack fell apart when he was suspended, we then had to look at a different way of playing because we hit a rough patch, and that different way of playing had him playing on top of a right-footed CB at LB.

It's fine when we can play on the break but when we have to have the impetus he's basically tasked with doing it all himself. No excuse for the other night, he was poor, but everything has to be taken into account.

If you are in a bad run of form should you not go back to basics? His effort really isn't there that often lately. He's running half heartedly. It just seems he's really down about something.

Apparently his agent has held talks with Atletico Madrid over a summer move. They see him as Costa’s replacement. I’d be sad to see him go but if he continues to play like he has so far this season it might be time to cash in.

Costa has hardly been playing - it's why he asked to leave
