He works his stones off, fights for everything.
Not easy for a forward playing in front of a beaten midfield!
He’s no Kanchelskis, he’s not going to dribble the length of the pitch. He’s a scrapper & a sniffer. Given chances in the box, he’ll do the business.

He’s playing crap, what do you want people to say. And he has for a fairly sustained period. He has had plenty of chances in the box this season. If he is going to come out and say he wants CL football, then start playing like it.

He will come through this spell, trust Carlo to manage him correctly and get him back in the right headspace. Players have droughts and poor runs, heck DCL had one after the re-start last season and was getting a dog's life for it from many on here. People were adamant we needed to go out and spend big on a striker otherwise it would be another crap season.

Wonder if he feels like he needs a big season this year to get a big move in the summer and every game goes by he’s getting more desperate to make an impact. Don’t know what but just hasn’t seemed right this season. I suppose he’s been playing more wide midfield maybe better suited to playing closer to dcl and getting in the box.
