He needs better service and try to play more central when he is allowed to. Too much distance between our front two

Not this season we have nothing near as effective on the left in the final third, we very much missed him when out. Digne is less effective in the final third also, when Richarlson is out.

Every game he looks even more deflated, didn't even celebrate or smile for the second goal, he just trudged off. Doesn't look great on him.

Is that not merely his own frustrations on display? Not properly celebrating with the team is an issue in itself, but he’s never truly been one to do.

He wants to be scoring himself and the fact that he isn’t is frustrating to him. A good goal or two and the confidence will ooze back.

I don't think we can afford to, Yes he's not scoring but does work hard defensively and maybe just today is the day he gets one.

Generally he’s good at Old Trafford. He’s a thorn in the Mancs side when he plays there.

Should never be dropped unless he is knackered or injured. Effort is there and the quality and confidence will return and he will turn it round soon hopefully. Carlo will sort him.

I think he started to listen too much to what was being said and written about him.
At the moment he certainly does not look like a 100m player, however his work rate is still good and a goal or two could turn his entire season around.
As a team we have become more defensive and less creative but I don't see DCL sulking about that. We are contesting for a place in Europe, just maybe although very unlikely a place in the CL which is what he wanted at the start of the season.

It just may be he will want to leave at the end of the season and this has already been agreed with his agent
It would at least in part explain his apparent discontent

Got to start as many games as possible we’re so much better balanced with him.
I think any opposition would prefer him not to play.
