Went off the boil for a number of matches. No problem. Happens every player. Back with a vengeance. Always runs himself into the ground. Back to scoring goals. One of our real class players who with work rate alone would make many premiership teams.

i think this might be the dawn of the 442

I know it's not always a popular formation for Everton fans but imo an awful lot of our players suit a 3-5-2. Maybe you'd want someone with better ability on the ball than Coleman at RWB, but we have the centre backs, the left wing back, industrious midfielders, James as the 10 (Gylfi his back up/ or for man marking jobs) and Richarlison & DCL up top.

On paper it feels like it should work - and it might be a way if given balance to attack and defence - but we don't often do that system justice, so I can understand the hesitancy.
