I'd be shocked if he's anywhere near the squad Saturday. In fact I'd be amazed if he's fit enough for the Derby. It was a real nasty one and I don't think there's any way of avoiding missing a few weeks with the weight he out on it as it turned.

Give him near two weeks TLC for the upcoming break. He is so competitive, is beginning to score goals now and is relishing playing with the better players in a more structured system around him. It'd be a brave man to tell him he has to sit out the derby with the team coming off the back of six, perhaps seven, straight wins going in to it.

They more often than not are used good or bad for ankle injuries for protection. Doesn’t really tell us anything more than what we ‘already know’. Just a horrible wait until we get official news
