The cult following he has is really strange, people treating him like a god because he pulls an angry face

....I admit that I rate him lots but not because he pulls an angry face. i just think he played tonight like the game didn’t matter and that is a big concern because he usually puts in a shift.

He was the only player that was even remotely a threat...The only player good enough to get behind the defenseand even put a shot on target with his weaker foot no less..

Again he wasn't good enough in all areas of his game. Missed chances to slip people in, slowed down and killed attacking momentum, missed a number of chances that were easier than the goals villa players scored. It's frustrating because this is his worst season for us and we know he can perform so much better. Richy of the last 3 years would've tore villa apart today, Richy of this season tho pffft!!

I am a fan of him generally, but he was never going to score tonight and looked half arsed and first touch was rubbish from start to finish.

He is, lost most of his pace, doesn’t have the desire to chase down, doesn’t hold the ball up well anymore. The lad is a complete shadow of himself.

His arrogance will be his biggest downfall. Rather than following the manager and clubs advice of having a proper break and pre-season he's insistent on going to the Olympics to play in a meaningless football tournament. Nobody cares or remembers who wins the football at the Olympics.
