A good Copa America will do him the world of good, never looks happy here at all.

if he does leave I’m not quite sure which club he goes to unless Ancelotti fancies him at RM. although I’m not sure he’s RM standard though. Can’t do any worse than Hazard over the last 12 months though.

Really hope we get one more season out of him. Had a bad season but the quality is there. All down to who we hire as manager I think. We must get it right.

I think if we get offered anything near 50 million we need to accept and get in a young hungrier player. Richarlison is good when he wants to be, but his attitude seems to get the better of him and thats why he's inconsistent

Overrated, turd of a player. How this guy is worth $68M is absolutely beyond me.

Look at that. That's your $68M boy right there. Complete turd.

Noted the same. Looked a COMPLETELY different player in yellow. Confident - head up. Not kidding, he actually lifted his head and found a teammate! With a perfectly weighted ball. I had to pause and rewind the game to double check it was Richy.

Everton would be well served to somehow translate THAT Richarlison in blue.
He is a different beast playing for Brazil. I agree it would be very beneficial for Everton to translate this confidence, serious pose and determination when he plays for us.

I would expect him to be happier back home, where he can actually see his family to confirm they are well. Brazil has been in such a mess since the start of Covid, it must be difficult for someone as young as him to be so far from home, I know he is paid well, but he is someone who cares about his people, he has been trying to help from a distance. I'm not going to criticize him for last season, I still like the bloke, just wish he'd smile more.

Yep. Great moment last night at Yerry standing him up in a one on one duel.

Richy pressed and passed so much better against Colombia last night than I've ever seen him do for Everton. I don't know that he's been truly comfortable for whatever reason.

I thought that was such a great moment too. Teammates that clearly appreciate each other but when wearing the National colors become fearful opponents.

I agree with @carolinablue232 post that Richarlison when playing for Brazil doesn’t try to do everything himself like he does with Everton. He trust those around him and that’s why he feels so comfortable with Brazil. He just doesn’t have the same confidence on his Everton’s teammates and at times he tries to over perform.

Yes. He actually passes the em the ball rather than trying to do it all himself because when he gives it to Neymar and co he doesn’t have to worry about anyone Iwobiing the ball into row Z.

Short version: Rico and DCL don't mesh well, and Rico doesn't have to track back as much for Brazil.

Rico's a ground-game guy and DCL is an air-game guy. Brazil has a bunch of ground-game passers Rico fits better with.

Couple that with Rico getting to focus on positioning to attack, which is really key because he is not the world's greatest dribbler in space at the top edge of the box, but is a good passer in space closer in, and it's obvious why Brazil gets more out of him.

Like most of our players, he's limited but is really good at what he does well. We have too many Lego pieces that don't fit together all that well.
