I imagine Madrid fans will be less receptive to the entire games where he miscontrols everything and gives the ball away constantly. I have to think Carlo would take him there as a striker but then he's never playing over Benzema so what's the point?

Because we need the money and need to sell him either this summer or next if we're going to get good value. And since he's definitely not signing another deal here without a magical run to the CL we do need to sell him. It's a profit and a pretty sizable fee for a player who imo is flawed and could fall off a lot of radars because of those flaws.

he cant control the ball, takes horrible choices and scores at subpar numbers (lul james got similar numbers with a lot less play time). if he wasnt brazilian he would cost about 15 million at best. sell him for a sh1t ton and get a better dude there , it wont be hard... look at copa america Luis diaz from colombia vs argentina...

He's got really great work rate even in his mediocre performances and when playing on the wings he tracks back. Managers appreciate that and with his talent he can be a great player. However I don't think he's Real Madrid material in any way, at least now. His decision making has been poor this year, and his ability to finish was worse than previous seasons.

he is an attacker , he shall be judged by his OFFENSIVE numbers... and those are mediocre, the thing about tracking back is a bonus, not a core skill to judge an atacker , he is not RM caliber type player , he sure IS NOT brazil tipe of player .

fans should be happy to milk 50m off this guy , and pliz by the love of god stop rating players by bonus traits.. i would rather have a striker with 15+ goals per season, good technique + assists than a pseudo attacker with defensive capabilites...

Tracks back should be the thing you say at least 60 seconds in to talking about a winger, not second up.

no sir i can defend with a double 4 in front of my keeper ... using the 2 strikers to counter attack when the oportunity arises... tracking back? what about shooting, passing , scoring or instilling fear into the opposition RB/LB TO NOT attack just because you may rip em apart? you know.. the offensive stuff that sells for huge money?
