That was the tournament. Brazil were the only team to take actual first teamers, France played 35 year old Gignac up front. Of course Brazil were going to win it, look at the state of that line up.

They don't field a full team (they can't) but its a good tournament for up and coming players. Brazil have never been that great at Olympics either until recently.

It means more in the womens game than the mens of course but he should be proud he is an Olympic gold medalist. Let's face it, it's more than he is going to win here.

But he plays for actual Brazil so he should win more for them than he wins with Everton. Let’s be honest, if that’s all he wins on the international stage in his career then I think the Brazilians have failed.

Spain very rarely take part though, was only the 4th time they’d got to the final and first in 20 years, they’re also the last European side to win gold at the games, on home soil in 92

Spain had by far the best squad there. Half of their team had been first teamers at the Euros. Richarlison was easily Brazils best player there
