To be fair to him he has cut most of the self-destructive antics out of his game. However, he can’t continue to do things like that (especially in the dying minutes as we are holding onto a game). I do think fatigue played a factor in his struggles, but we need Richy to mature just that bit more. He is too vital to be getting dumb suspensions.

Think it was a case of him being well off the pace and getting frustrated. No doubt carrying a knock going into the international break and then travelling back from South America won’t have helped. Rest will do him good hopefully and he’ll be firing on all cylinders when he gets back.

He seemed to always be carrying a knock. Will be good for him to have an enforced break and come back the player he was against Spurs with that speed and aggression. Time for others to step up.

I was about to say the same thing but also add he hadn’t been on great firm yet. He’ll be hungry to get back and score.

Yeah the early season form has been DCL, James, Digne and Keane carrying the team. Hopefully Richarlison will be back fully fit and can be at top form if the others dip and he can win us some games over the Christmas period.

We’re a far better team with Richarlison in it

he’s scored four goals and got two assists I believe this season - an ‘ordinary’ season and he’s probably our top scorer by now!

the rest will probably do him good but it’s a big loss for us. Was a daft tackle and he knows it

100%. I think in his first season, away at city there was a little off the ball thing with gomes and a few city players squared up to him. Richarlison was straight in defending his team mate.
I said straight away to myself you'll do for me.
Can never have enough of that in your teams.
