Richarlison being on doesn’t defend their 3 goals better or allow our midfield to get the ball to our forwards more. A lot more problems than his red card.

Absolutely. He’s hardly been a game changer in the seasons prior to this, so inflating his importance masks the glaring issues in other areas.
Central midfield (overly defensive and non creative), central defence (shaky as ever) and goalkeeper (well documented). He also got sent off in a game that should have been a defeat so he didn’t do much then to stop that.

Takes more than wages sadly....needs to be in a team capable of competing..this squad is still 2-3 very good transfer windows away from that...
