2021/22 Richarlison

I think Richarlison will want to leave this summer and I think that there probably is an agreement in place with him from last summer to allow him to leave if certain conditions are met.

I don't think the club will be too unhappy as a large fee from his sale would improve our positions regarding FFP enormously and provide FL with a transfer budget.

Please explain where this large fee is coming from and who will be paying it?

I dont want Richarlison to go, but inevitably, this year or in the next 2-3 (if we have a miracle turnaround) he will have to leave and we can't grudge that. But when he leaves i'll be a supporter and hope he does well with more goals & assists. I think Bayern or Atletico would really suit him. because of his hard work ethic and I think he's the type who does well in an organised well coached team - can't really expect him to score a goal out of nothing or through a piece of brilliance . He might have ambitions for one of the big 2 in Spain, but he hasn't done enough yet to get a bid, and Real & Barca are always volatile, lurching from one agenda to the next.

RIchy needs one really standout season - 15 -20 goals / 10 assists something like that - before he really gets serious bids in. I dont think he'll go to a club much bigger than Everton now. IT'll be a much much better team of course, but if he wants next level - i.e. a CL club, and then after that the top level, e.g. Bayern, Barca, Real - he needs a season of big stats first! lucky for us we should get one good year out of him I hope!

He is not a goalscorer. He is not a goal creator. He is 25 this summer. He is better than he has shown over the last 2 seasons but, even in his best season, we expected he would go on and do more. He looks like unfulfilled potential. He will get a move this summer, whatever happens, but I would be amazed if we recovered the money we paid for him. There isn't a big market for forward players who don't score or assist. Arsenal or Spurs may take a chance on him. But I think he will go to Italy, possibly to Napoli, Roma or one of the Milan teams. I think Simeone could do well with him at Atletico too.

I mean he needs to get a move on, he’s 25 now. He’s gone backwards since the year we signed him.

Mad he has 9 goals fair does.

That’s more than. Grealish, foden, Lukaku, Werner, lacazette, Rashford, Jimenez, Watkins, Antonio. More than any Southampton forward or palace forward. Zaha has 9 but 3 penalty’s.

Zaha’s the interesting comparison. You take out his pens and in his 8 year palace career averages a goal every 5 games. Same for his country.

Richarlison 1 in 3.4 Everton and 1 in 3.2 Brazil.
And remember when palace wanted 70mil when he was 3months off 28

This idea he’ll be joining a European giant is absolute pie in the sky. He’s been fairly rubbish for a long while now. Loses possession far too often for these teams.

He’ll join a Newcastle or at best, a Spurs.
