I think they're in the doldrums. Who would have thought it would take the RS 30 years to win a title after their last one in the 90s. If you had told them back then they'd not win for 30 years then they'd laugh at you.
I have an old mate who's a Utd fan and I told him when Fergie retired that they could be just like Liverpool and spend a good decade winning nothing. Turns out I was right too. Utd do need major surgery and there's no guarantee they'll get it sorted any time soon. They have the money and the clout to attract big name players but there needs to be a total culture shift at the club to get them back to winning ways.

It's really boiled my whizz to be honest. We have utterly squandered 5 years. Under Moyes we were a genuine threat to the top 6, our biggest rival was probably Spurs, Man City had only just really started to assert their dominance. Yet year on year we cocked up and that top 6 really became a top 8. We now have Leicester, West Ham, Wolves, Newcastle now too, who are genuinely attractive propositions for players we would like to sign.
Competition just to get into the top half of the table is immensely fierce and teams like ourselves and Southampton who have done nothing for decades have genuinely become threatened with relegation. We really are in a mess. It's going to take a monumental effort and if Frank can establish us back in the top half a d becoming just a respectable team again he will have done a stellar job really.
You’ve been supporting us since 2014 though so no one’s arsed. Frank is respected in this fanbase.
