2021/22 Richarlison

Villa fan in peace ( I think ? )

Only signed up, due to some of the absolute madness and vitriol I've seen linked on our forum, coming from Everton fans.

I thought that historically, we had a mutual respect for each other, based on the similar history and stature of the respective clubs. We were always pretty much neck and neck ( Until our decline before relegation ) and you lot were a relatively well run club which went on to do much better than us in recent years, obviously.

So i've always had a soft spot for Everton, why the hate?

What's wrong with the club trying to be ambitious? It's a simple yes or no ain't it? Everton and Richarlison can either laugh off and reject the interest, or accept it. ( That is if there is even any truth to this transfer rumour, as most Villa fans don't think it makes any sense ).

Wouldn't you agree that clubs only improve, by trying to sign players which are " Above their station " on paper ?

The owners are ambitious and trying to " give it a proper go "
Hi mate. When villa finishes above Everton one season and your fans starts coming on here, talking down to us and saying how our better players would wanna leave us for AV we will react accordingly. We clearly dont like your manager, but the tension started when a few villa bums came on here to talk trash. I doubt many of us actually have a problem with your club.

did they? i thought those The Villa fans were ok - theres quite a good chance Richey will go there if the deal is right. The Villa have obviously got ambitions at the moment and we suffer from `giant club syndrome` with decades of mis-management at all levels, expeciously at the management level. a great man once said `may the pressure continue to be a privilege`.

I might be wrong here.

But is there a bonus for selling a homegrown academy player ? Like the release of funds into the wage structure etc it isn't 1 to 1
