There’s definitely something in that. Either something Dele related or else we’ll end up with Winks for a surprisingly low fee to offset both team’s spending sort of the opposite of how we sold Lukaku for £85m but also bought Rooney for £10m when in reality it was a £75m deal for Lukaku and Rooney was free.
Be strange for us to settle for just over £50m for him although saying that we are clearly desperate for money so maybe that’s just the real reason.
I think they have to buy him as part of the loan
He's there for another season anyway then they can buy him after that.
