there is no evidence they don't get on, none. People - who happen to have not been in the ground for 18 months - do what they do and make things up based on conjecture or the two of them failing to find each other (which really is just down to poor decision making on both of their parts).
There was none of this back before COVID when Dom and Rich were playing up front in the 4-4-2 for three months.
They barely ever communicate, and barely ever have any sort of interchange.
