It shows you how good team see Richy when only Spurs come in for him, do we just think he is better than he is?
Not really, he is very important for us.

Like anything it's supply and demand. Other clubs probably think they are well stocked in that area. (then again so are Spurs.)

Great player, sound lad, deserves his move 100%.

But this is the wrong move for him as far as I see. No guaranteed game time, and not a lot more chance of trophies than here.
I would imagine he will play in a front 3. Son has been linked away too.

Conte seems like a good manager for him too.

Nailed on we will all be fuming at him when Spurs come to Goodison next season.

They have won a cup since we last won one, that’s for sure, they have won more cups then Kenwright has while being our custodian.

They are ruthless at transfers and he takes no crap, Kenwright roles over and begs for more.

Moshiri has made massive errors in not bringing in football people to run this club, Kenwright has been mismanaging it for a lot longer and is still allowed.

I repeat, like him or not, under Levy we would have had more success and be in a better position then we are with those idiots running the club.
We have done ok selling players a d have done ok, they sold blue, modric and only held on to Kane as he’s was on a long deal. Many have left look at Eriksen for example. There’s no doubt we have made them pay the price for Richy, just because it’s said Levy is tight and a great negotiator don’t believe all you read. But I do agree we have messed up wasting so much money, but no fan was moaning about it at the time, wrve Been quite unlucky that a lot of our new signing ps have down tools when they moved here.

Mate am not sure why you think we have done ok selling players, since lukaku (ignoring digne) I think we have raised like 11m or something ludicrous in transfer fees.

We are absolutely awful at selling players - we cannot do it, and when we get an asset who is important to us and how we play we have Bill buying levy a steak down in London and probably agreeing to knock 20m off while paying for the meal.

Selling players and Everton is a awful combination. It’s one of the worst aspects of this club.

We’re nowhere near the size of spurs as a club right now, or anywhere near their level.

Let’s be realistic ffs. History counts for nothing.

Richarlison has been a very successful piece of business by Everton, a player who has done well in the team for us and is sold for a substantial profit.
Apart from when he plays against us I wish him well.

I am however surprised at how little interest that gas been from clubs in signing him and I think that ahows we possibly over estimate the value of our players.

I am surprised that Raphina seems to be a more saleable player than Richarlison.

When he goes if at least we sign a couple of interesting young players it will make his leaving more palatable.

We all know our position financially and our position as a competitive football club. I don't want him to go but I think his time has come to move on to a more competitive club and Everton logically would be cashing in. Players move. It's dispiriting that yet again we're selling one of our top players if not out best player.
We've always done it. Lineker for me in 86 (plus Beardsley and Dunc) were bad moves from the club. I just want us to be back to where we were 12 months before Lineker was sold when WE were capable of snapping up the top players.

Selling Richarlison makes us a lot weaker. Unless we do some unexpectedly smart business, we will go into next season weaker than the year before.
But it was the same if we sold Dom mate.

We had to sell one of them because we need the funds. It's as simple as that. It's crap, but we all knew the score going into the summer.
