Stopped being sad about players leaving long ago.
The lads biggest achievement for us was finishing 8th.
See yer mate. £60m is good money for him.
?!?!? I never seem to have any trouble with this. ?Changed my avatar. Sad times when Pickford was the only other player I could think of as a suitable replacement.
I don't see the tightest chairman in the league splashing out 60mil and i think its their record signing on a player who wont be starting most weeks.Honestly think he'll struggle to start games for them. He's going to be spending a lot of time on the bench i reckon coming on for ten minute cameos.
Or win win for us if alli suddenly start to play at the level it has shown in the past...and richy ends up as a sub because he keeps missing easy chances in front of goal.Win win for Spurs.....more gametime for Alli, means money back to Spurs quicker.
This is a perfect summary of our current plight. ?We are one frustrating, knobhead club to support
I know what you're saying but only one bloke will be picking the team there and its conte and i don't see Richy as being better than their existing front line. Time will tell though.I don't see the tightest chairman in the league splashing out 60mil and i think its their record signing on a player who wont be starting most weeks.
I agree as i don't know where he fits in but he will be shoehorned somewhere.
He wants to play in the Champions League. Spurs are in the Champions League and by and large always challenge to be in the Champions League.
I know but we all felt sad at the start of the following season given we replaced a generational talent with Marcus Bent even if it did end up ok!Finished 4th after Rooney left.
yes...there it kind of is...At least we can sleep safe in the knowledge that he will win as many trophies with them as he did with us.
