Richarlison

The Saudi stuff is a red herring.
No way does Richarlison want to go to Saudi in a world cup year.
He has two years left on his contract and clearly wants to go back to Everton.
Puts Levy in a crap position. I've a feeling Friedkin will have the measure of Levy if Moyes wants Richarlison.
The down side of American ownership is prices for fans will rise a lot
The upside is that Friedkin will drive a good deal out of the likes of levy.

He was sold for £50mil in 2022 and signed a 5 year deal. His PSR value is now £20mil.

I think his best position would be on the left of a front 3 -- where would he even play in our team?

Apparently Moyes see’s ndiaye as a left winger, though that could change, if a quality left sided forward came available

Edit:- maybe that’s way they won’t let Alcaraz start his 9 games and we can way up what else is available

Depending on what other business we do, I’d definitely loan him, but even then we’ve seen so hampered we’ve been by the disappointing Broja and Harrison loans

Not sure I’d be looking to buy based on his injury record

Would love him back if he’s not finished

play him up top
or left of a front 3 with Ndiaye at 10
4-2-3-1
Pickford
O'brien, tark, Branthwaite, new LB
Gana, New CM
McNeil, Ndiaye, Richie
Beto

You can switch Alcaraz in for any of the front 3 and play richie up top.

I'd find a replacement for McNeil, and Beto too.
So new LB, new CM, new RW, and Richie.
Keep Broja and Beto as back up for when he inevitably gets crocked.

What i see is that we have:

Left: Ndiaye / McNeil
Centre: McNeil / Alcaraz
Right:

We could do with signing Alcaraz & at least one right winger -- I dont think Richarlison is at his best off the right.

Also, if as you suggest we did sign Richarlison and moved Ndiaye central then that could make sense.

At that point I guess its a straight choice between a 28 year old, now injury prone Richarlison and a 22 year old Alcaraz.

Loved him when he was here and there's not many I'd go back for but his class and snide are tempting. He's still only 27 I think.
It would have to be on our terms though, Levy rang rings round Moshiri, I doubt he'd do that with Dan the man.

There's no chance.
Levy had all the leverage when buying Richarlison.
He now has a striker who publicly wants out, and pretty much publicly wants to go to Everton.
He has 2 years left on his contract so he can refuse a move that doesnt appeal and he wont get a better offer than playing for Everton.
If I'm Levy, I loan him to Everton, hope he has a great season and makes the world cup squad and then see what I can get for him with a year left on his contract. Maybe a 5m loan fee and a 15m signing fee next season.
No ones paying north of 20m for Richarlison this Summer given his health issues (at least no one he wants to leave Spurs for).
Friedkin has the leverage if he wants to use it.
