I just rewatched Saturday’s game and saw something that I hadn’t noticed watching live. When Mane is booked for the challenge on Holgate and starts waving his arms around and moaning, Holgate walks past him and looks right at him and laughs at him. There’s a touch of the snide in young Mason and I like it.

I loved that moment! My wife was in the room for some reason second half (has no interest in football but could tell I was more stressed than normal so wanted to try and find out what was going on) and she was matching my fume about him and Salah diving at every opportunity so was great when we both spotted Mason laughing at him and cheered!
