had to laugh at hearing he did his knee after a clash with that big lump Heskey....what a tool

Oh well the good lord tells me that I'll be alright.... but England are right royally ****ed

His name is Rio & he's sittin' in the stand
He missed his drug test..... now he wants a 100 grand.

rated more by himself than anyone else.
this squad needs an injury curse in the next few days, get rid of some chaff and get some in that will pull it out against all odds, the golden generation are the beaten generation, our best chance is to sack a few and drag some outsiders in at the last minute. shock horror from me of all people but carradog and his bumboy could be the ones to influence them in such circumstances. cos for all their arsewipeness, they will give everythying in s.a.

Ferdinand out of the World Cup - a lucky break?

A lot of people have been saying it for months: Rio Ferdinand is not the player he was and Michael Dawson has been outstanding in the latter part of the season and was unlucky not to be in the final squad. Personally I think it's a good thing. OK, it means Gerrard will be captain, but with my England hat on, and you can't deny he inspired the RS to that comeback against AC Milan, that's probably no bad thing either. Just as long as we don't end up getting from RS fans what we've been getting from West Ham fans for decades - 'Liverpool vant Verdenen Koppen !'

I couldn't bring myself to type it in English so have used a language that they'll understand in Oslo :dodgy:

I don't rate Dawson. His positional sense is terrible. He will be badly found out against good players, as will King. King wont last 2 games, never mind the whole tournament. Terry has been terrible, been caught out so often. Jags was the perfect player for England, in that his positional sense is better than any of the other player in that squad.

OK, no one can tell if or how long King will last but you can't deny it's a good thing to have two central defenders used to playing together, and King and Dawson were obviously a good enough partnership to get Spurs into the Champions' League. It's all about what/who fits the system (like Jack Charlton in Alf Ramsey's '66 team when even he admitted there were better centre halves than him) not who is the best player.

Capello's mistakes in his team selection are already showing, I for onr am glad.

He went against everything he promised.
