Well we never signed Fernandes, so he didn't need replacing.

But I do share your despair. But I am bouyed by the fact we are showing great ambition. The squad without Riquelme is still good enough to compete all fronts.

Not that upset, but we may be looking to bring in some more quality in January.
 
But we had him on loan last season, so it was another number lost.

Along with Kilbane and davies who were never replaced in position.

Ok, Fernandes played a handful of games and the other 2 were [Poor language removed]. We've signed Gravesen, Piennar, Jagielka for midfield.
 

Hi, I'm new to the forum, but I've been following it for a while yet never really decided to join.

But here's my two pennys worth on the matter.

1) SSN said before, through their reporter in the studio, that they have been in contact with Wyness and he is trying to close 1 deal. This was before 11:00pm.

2) I've personally been harassing Ian Ross by email but to no avail. First he replies to my email about the Gravesen-No.10 situation and says it will be sorted out tomorrow.
Then I ask him will we be having any transfers in before midnight, this was at tea time, he replies No. So I write back to him politely saying the club should have the decency to inform their fans if we are definitely after nobody a la Mark Hughes and Blackburn.
I get a bloody angry response telling me that he didn't say we weren't signing anyone, it was just the club doesn't feel the need to inform fans every hour or so "nothing new on situation". I think he misunderstood my response but what can you do. He says its our choice to read the rubbish on SSN and other sites.

I'm awaiting another reply from him now - if he can be bothered.
Keep you informed if its worthwhile you guys.
 
Tell him that I think he's a prick and if he wants to come down to Port Sunlight I would be happy to speak to him about his crap PR skills.
