As we head into a new year, we'll be making a few changes as we endeavor to provide the best gaff on the internet for Evertonians.
In years gone, in Dec/Jan - I've tried to provide a bit of a 'roadmap' so you can all see what our plans are for the months ahead as we enter our 10th year...
And so, a summary/road-map of sorts...

10 and 20 point infractions expire after 30 days, the rest after 45 days.

In years gone, in Dec/Jan - I've tried to provide a bit of a 'roadmap' so you can all see what our plans are for the months ahead as we enter our 10th year...
And so, a summary/road-map of sorts...
- Website (Front Page). We're going to refresh this - example: Everton media/video section to be added.
- Match Threads. Moving forward, we're going to have one match thread. This thread will contain a preview, and after the match, we'll edit the first post to also include a match report (which will also be on our website front page). We're also going to make an increase effort to ensure match threads are available at least 3 days prior the game - rather than waiting for someone to pencil a preview. Big thanks to @McBain for his efforts with previews and @AndyC with match reports recently - doesn't half help.
- Team Changes. Esk will be reallocating the time he volunteers to help GOT. Instead of moderating the forum he'll be helping mould the direction of the site in other ways/strategic direction. More details to follow.
- New moderator. We'll be looking for a new moderator from January to replace Esk, if you feel you can volunteer time to proactively moderate GOT, drop me a note and I'll put your name on the list for moderators to review.
- Forum Moderation System. We'll be revamping our existing system - feedback on what the below system moderators are briefed to work towards would be appreciated via direct message. If you use other forums (JUDAS), and think there's anything they do better than us, we're all ears...

- Forum Report System. We're looking at how we can improve this system. Currently, I'm not convinced we manage reports as well as we perhaps could due to default software limitations.
- Forum Community Moderating. We're keen to continue to explore ways in which the community can self moderate, a rep system or 'X' amount of reports for a post places that post in a moderation queue. We've been in limbo with this for a while, waiting on a plugin we can use to achieve this but community moderating is something we're keen to implement.
- Forum Supporter Lounge. It's future is being considered. Should it go, we'll give six months notice. Feedback within that forum to follow.
- New Server. I'd like us to be on an improved server at some point in 2017. We won't be layering in any more ads, or hassling you to visit our partners - instead we'll be looking at revenue opportunities to give us that lift. Stuff you can buy, because you think it's good. I'm hopeful we can offer some half decent merch for consideration to help us get on a better server.
