So from what our manager said this week.

We would have won if Watford never scored

We crested some good chances which was good, didn't score them but good we got into positions

Another day the attackers would have won the game for us.

Great......... On another day we would have won the game, Shame we aren't winning the games on the day we actually play them.

Plan for the rest of the season.

Didn't hear that. Heard him asked about how the goal was after time added on and he said it was no excuse. Which seemed reasonable.
Watford were roughly what I expected. Disciplined but lacking in confidence. We seemed to have even less confidence

To tell you the truth mate I never heard his interview, I just took that bit from what one of the lads had posted up what Martinez had said in his interview.

It really is a shame about Roberto. He seems a lovely man. He just needs to come out and admit that under him the team has become hopeless at defending (as well as less "joined-up" in the second half of the season compared to the first when at least we had a sparkling attack) and that he recognises that and intends to remedy it.

Until he does that we are not going to improve under him.

If a man doesn't recognise or admit to his weaknesses he is not going to improve

I don' have issue with Martinez. If he can repeat what he did in the first season I bet fans would be behind him. Results show harsh reality. 2 seasons of trash.

Quite a few here love to twist the words of some posters, taken others' words out of context, accusing others for saying something that they are not intended to say...odd. By the time they hardly find excuses for the defence of Martinez...what are they going to say? Stuff like "you want Everton to lose", "you are a kopite" and "you don't want Everton to win the FA cup because you wanna Bobby to get sack" blah blah blah. These guys tried to make themselves on a higher ground just because they blindly support the manager. In fact, results showcase unless a change is made then there is a great possibility that this club will regress even further next season.

I am sure all fans hope for the best for Everton. Opinions can be different but can people just get along? Think not cos it's humanity.
Just to point out you've accused people of putting words in others mouths and that we can agree to disagree,. Then in the same post said that people who disagree with you are putting themselves on a higher ground, and 'blindly following'.
Don't want to start a dispute but...
