Roberto Martinez discussion

The only sub that made any sense was the Gerry one, but we outplayed the hell out of Newcastle and beat a poor referee. Should have had a penalty and a RC for that challenge on Ross.
Not the first ref we've had lately looking to nobble us. Another utter disgrace from the "above board" and completely free of corruption refs of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited.

He got lucky today, Besic came on and changed the whole game, it only highlights how much of a crime against football that he didnt start.

Just stuck 500 large on him being the next manager sacked.

Only got 4/5.
He's 4/5 for the next United manager. You'd do well to lump on that.

What issues? That we dominated the game and won?

Massive head in sand. We won with a last minute winner in a game against one of the bottom 3.

For all our domination Newcastle probably had the more clear cut chances, and that's worrying for any fixture coming up against decent opposition. Stoke can prove to be a huge turning point, if we pick them apart then you can start to look at it being a corner turned.

For the past few months it feals like we are really on the edge of something, the big question is, is RM the one to take us on. By the way anyone saying that any Blues on here want us to lose need to show some respect, those sort of comments are not clever

This is spot on, however every time we're not 'dominating' we look set to concede. You've got to be able to withstand spells of pressure and give nothing away, right now we can't.

I get your point, but equally, whenever we go forward, we look like scoring.

It is nervy viewing granted, but as I have said countless times, it is more concerning having a football team that cant score.

We are so good on the eye it's ridiculous. Take a minute to realize how much our style of play has changed from hoofball. It really is quite remarkable.

Yet ironically, despite dominating the game for 70 mins or so, we score a last minute goal from a set piece- only our second of the season.

Goes to show that no matter what your tactics are, or how many sitters your striker misses, Everton will continue to shock us, make us burst in tears of joy, or rather simply put just be Everton.
