Roberto Martinez from the start of last season until now in the Premier League

61 games 18 wins!!! Wiganton

Lets stop acting like it's just started and we're overreacting, it's 18 months of [Poor language removed] results.

Hahahaha Wiganton, Everwig LOL Hahaha hahahaha

My word.

But he won the cup with wigan.

Genuinely interested to read a rational defence of Martinez at this point. Not a WUM post, but someone who actually thinks he's the right man for the job and can actually give reasons.

Because for the life of me I can't think of one.

There isn't one. Think you said in the match thread what I've been saying for a long time. It's a good set of players with absolutely no game plan whatsoever.

All I keep hearing from other managers, pundits and the like is how good of a team we are and that we should be much higher up the table than we are. Surely long enough has been given now for the manager to prove this. Massive game Wednesday night and for me I need to not only see us go through but to win the game in a convincing unexpected fashion. A massive and unlikely ask but I'm done with him. Its his last stand for me.

Nothing here. Up until the Chelsea game there were at least some positives to take, now - nope. Proving to be inept in too many ways possible with the team he has, lack of good subs, lack of good decisions (playing virtually the SAME team over the fixtures we had this month is absolutely dreadful player management, and he's a physio, which makes this EVEN worse - he should know players will get tired... right?). City will now smash us as Lukaku is off the pace and knackered, Besic and Mirallas are injured, we've brought in no one to replace Naismith (who would be at least a good squad player).

If we don't win against City, we have to sod off the FA Cup, play the kids against Carlisle and prepare for every fixture in the Prem as if it's our last - we're still 10 points from safety right now.
