Roberto Martinez discussion

I didn't pen it. It is very well written, even got a bit of national attention earlier (talksport) my Twitter timeline was full of people RT-ing it and agreeing, their has been an undeniable momentum shift to complete dissatisfaction with the job he is currently doing, including the vote on this very forum, when a few months ago the thought that 70-75% of voters would want rid, would've been unthinkable, now it's the case.

Very few of us had the foresight to see he was probably never going to be good enough.

:coffee:

yeh but Mark Hughes...

Don't want him, but definitely a better manager than Martinez. No doubt.

Unless you know of a reason why he isn't?

He's not. He's bang average. He wouldn't have got us 5th in his first season, we'd have finished 10th, 10th and 10th and 10th and 10th and so on and so on. A poor man's Moyes

10th is better than 11th and 12th though.

And he got THAT Stoke squad to finish above THIS Everyon squad last season and they are clear of us again.

If it was the other way around I'd be sectioned for trying to say Hughes was Better than Martinez.

Don't want either of them here now.

Prior to last night I had tried my hardest to give Martinez more of a break. But last night was dreadful, when you analyse the game. We were terrible and at no point did we build any momentum after we went behind and they had 1 midfielder on the pitch.

Outside of deulofeu's chance early in the 2nd half we did nothing.

Which is pretty normal for playing Man City away mate.

I'm more fuming with the team and him from Sunday's game.
