Yes, I've actually studied Wigan's finances. When Martinezs took them down, they were spending less money in transfers than any other tema in the league and only norwich were paying less wages.
He had a much tougher financial psotion than bruce did and far worse than Redknapp did at portsmouth.
Winning the Fa Cup with that club and those finances is really impressive and what he did here in his first season is also impressive, not to mention how well his first european campaign is going. There are more signs that this guy has it than there are signs he doesn't.
